In PowerPoint, the Eyedropper is a tool that allows you to sample and apply colors from various objects within your presentation. It is useful for maintaining color consistency and matching colors precisely.

When you select the Eyedropper tool, it appears as an icon resembling an eyedropper or pipette.

To select the Eyedropper tool in PowerPoint, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the "Home" tab in the PowerPoint ribbon at the top of the window.

  2. Look for the "Drawing" group in the ribbon, which contains various tools for working with shapes and objects.

  3. Within the "Drawing" group, locate the buttons for "Shape Fill" and "Shape Outline". These buttons are typically represented by a paint bucket icon and a pencil icon, respectively.

  4. Click on the small arrow located at the bottom right corner of either the "Shape Fill" or "Shape Outline" button. This will open a drop-down menu with additional options.

  5. In the drop-down menu, you will find the "Eyedropper" tool represented by an icon resembling an eyedropper or pipette. Click on the "Eyedropper" option.

  6. The Eyedropper tool will now be selected, and your cursor will change to the Eyedropper icon.

  7. You can then use the Eyedropper tool to sample colors from objects within your presentation by hovering over them and clicking to select the desired color.
